Passionate about helping every child succeed through empathy, structure, and collaboration.

Classroom Support & Student Engagement
During my practicum at Daniel Webster Elementary School, I assisted the lead teacher in facilitating lesson activities and keeping students engaged in learning. I built positive relationships with children by fostering a welcoming classroom environment where every student felt comfortable participating. I tried to demonstrate initiative by stepping in to support instruction when needed and applying early skills in instructional differentiation and scaffolding to help students who required extra guidance.

Instructional Differentiation & Scaffolding
I believe every child learns in their own unique way, so I make it a priority to adjust instruction to meet individual needs. When I worked in the classroom, I supported students by breaking down tasks into manageable steps and providing extra guidance when needed, while encouraging independence as they grew more confident. I used scaffolding strategies to help struggling learners access the lesson and differentiation to challenge those ready for more. My goal is always to create an inclusive environment where each student feels capable and supported in their learning journey.

Relationship Building & Positive Classroom Climate
I value creating a classroom where students feel safe, respected, and excited to learn. Building strong relationships is at the heart of my teaching, whether through listening carefully, celebrating small successes, or encouraging collaboration among peers. I strive to foster a positive climate where every child feels seen and supported, knowing that trust and belonging are the foundation for meaningful engagement and growth.

Inclusive Education Practices
I am committed to creating a classroom where every child feels valued and supported, regardless of their learning style or background. As someone with ADHD myself, I bring both personal insight and empathy into how I design lessons and routines. My experience working with ADHD, autistic, and neurodivergent children has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and celebrating individual strengths. I strive to use accommodations and scaffolding strategies that make learning accessible, while building a community where differences are respected, and every child has the opportunity to thrive.
