It is with sincere pleasure that I recommend Kylie Stires. I served as Kylie’s cooperating teacher during her first practicum experience this past semester, which was completed as part of her program at Ozark Technical Community College (OTC), in my third-grade classroom.
Throughout her time with us, Kylie consistently demonstrated the professional and relational qualities essential for a successful educator. She was professional in all her interactions, and my students truly enjoyed her presence in the classroom.

Kylie excelled at building positive relationships with the students, creating a supportive environment where they felt comfortable learning. She was proactive and happy to step in to help with instruction and student management whenever needed, showing great initiative.

I was particularly impressed with Kylie's early grasp of instructional differentiation. She was highly skilled at recognizing and highlighting students’ individual strengths while also accurately identifying their weaknesses. She was able to appropriately scaffold instruction to support students who needed extra help. Furthermore, Kylie demonstrated excellent self-awareness; if she was unsure about an instructional strategy or procedure, she always asked for help or clarification, ensuring that she maintained the highest standards of practice.
